Children of all ages are invited to let their imaginations run wild . We have lots of cardboard, art supplies, and a whole variety of thingamabobs to use—and adults to help with hot glue and x-acto knives.

Watch in-person, live glassblowing! We will have several glassblowers on our staff who will be rotating for live demos so that at least 2 glassblowers will be working live between 10am – 5-6pm both days.

Our glassblowers specialize in working with Borosilicate glass via lampworking and lathe work. Borosilicate glass is a hard and durable glass that only melts in extremely high temperatures and has a short working time; this allows for small detail and intricate technique.

8:00pm- Savage Aural Hotbed creates their compelling sound using conventional and “found object” percussion (concussion) instruments, bass guitar, electronically modified horns and vocals, and power tools. With up to four people drumming, they provide visual, as well as aural excitement with their high energy rhythms, flailing arms, and flying sparks. Pounding out rhythmic barrages of pulsating, percussive music.

Noon- The Old Smugglers: Just like meat and potatoes, starfish and coffee, Laverne and Shirley… the classic Old Smugglers dynamic duo returns to the stage!

3:00pm- Lydia Sophia:At the age of eleven, Lydia Sophia performed with country sensation Kenny Rogers, singing with her classmates and as a soloist in front of a crowd of around 3,000.

3:45pm-Juniper Lynn: Juniper performs a mix of covers and original songs as a solo artist.

5:15pm- EMBAHN: Embahn is a musician based in MPLS. Many of her songs are written in open tunings and are paired with unusual finger picking patterns and time signatures.

Sunday:

Noon- Lucy London is a young folk-Americana singer-songwriter, composer, community singing songleader, and walking piece of performance art.

1:30pm- Philippe Gallandat: Join our Music Curator and internationally known singer in singing together -in Italian- Bella Ciao and hear his french ballads

2:00pm- Vittorio & the Bridges: Vittorio is Italian. He moved to MPLS in 2008 with his young family after living 2 years in Norway and 8 years in London.

3:00pm- Vicki Lynn plays a wide variety of crowd favorites and lesser-known gems in the Americana vein and beyond.

Nail Polish Making Workshop

We will be offering a mini nail polish-making workshop all weekend long.

Visit us and create one of our special Art-A-Whirl color recipes! We provide the materials and you create the polish. This event is less formal than our regular workshops and will be mainly self-guided with printed instructions. An employee will be available to assist if desired. Appointments are encouraged, but drop-ins are more than welcome!

The cost is $15 for your first color and $10 for any extra custom color you’d like to make. Each single color time slot will take about 20 minutes.
