Banana Leaf Collective is a Twin Cities-based network of creative people exploring practices of storytelling, mutual aid, and community building. The collective was formed as a response to hyper-individualized, precarious gig work culture and systemic racism in our respective industries. We aim to create a space that nurtures our members’ ambitions and creativity through collaboration and relationship building; that de-centers whiteness; and that operates within a culture of abundance, mutual respect, and accountability.
