The Quincy Street closure will take place leading up to and during the hours of Art-A-Whirl. This closure for safety purposes: to keep motorized vehicles and pedestrians from interacting too closely.
Hard Closures (no cars beyond this point):
Q.arma Building – 1224 Quincy St NE. No car access to Quincy Hall Parking lot.
Solar Arts Building – 711 15th Ave NE. Resident access to the alley only.
14th & Van Buren. Access to Northrup King Building Parking lot only.
Soft Closures: (only parking lot access)
14th Ave NE & Central Ave. Access to Northrup King Building and Timber & Tie Apartments (private) only.
15th & Monroe. Resident access to the alley only.
Quincy St & Broadway. Access to paid parking at Highlight Center Only. No street parking on Quincy St NE.
Art-A-Whirl Trolleys
Sponsored by the NE Lions Club and Northeast Bank, these free Trolleys will run during Art-A-Whirl hours. A loop through the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District takes roughly 30 minutes, with a trolley visiting a stop every 10-15 minutes. Three (3) Trolleys will run on Friday and Sunday, with five (5) operating on Saturday.
*Bolded locations have at least one free public parking lot! Park and ride! Park and walk! Street parking available pretty much anywhere, but in more limited quantity.
