Moriah Thielges is a traditional and digital artist currently living in the Twin Cities area of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Her journey of visual art has included many media, including watercolor, acrylic, and digital painting. Moriah seeks to strengthen the connections between the human spirit under the layers of personal history, societal construction, and context, and creates portraits of “wild people” coming back home into their most natural moments of human experience. Her work hopes to portray emotional authenticity that people can connect with no matter their culture or gender expression, as empathic portraits of the shared space of the human experience.

In addition to her work as a visual artist, she has taught visual arts for nine years. Working in both public school settings and community organizations, Moriah has enjoyed bringing the spark of human creativity to people throughout the Twin Cities area. She is also a tarot reader, reiki healer, and works with individuals to help them embrace their whole, authentic, intuitive self to live their experience with the fullest joy.
