Curling Stones

Oil painting of curling stones at the northeast Minneapolis taproom, Sociable Cider Werks.  Highly detailed.  Pointillistic.  Painting depicts ten newly acquired granite curling stones before Sociable’s first Bonspiel, with snow and sky reflected in the handles.  The background is a juniper tree with a few blue-green berries.  Oil paint on Gessoboard, 12″ x 12″ before framing, in flat black wooden frame.  Completed 2024.
