The Center is located at 652 17th Avenue NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413, directly across the street from the Casket Arts Building. All are welcome.

This is a two-class introduction to Zen meditation and related practices. Classes include a combination of discussion about Zen, its relevance to daily life, instruction and practice in sitting meditation (zazen), and information about Compassionate Ocean Zen Center.

Guided meditation instruction and a Dharma talk oriented to those newer to Compassionate Ocean or Zen will be presented at this Sunday morning program. Welcome sessions provide extra orientation and are a great time to attend a meditation session for the first time.a
