Jennifer Shea Hedberg, the “Ice Wrangler,” has spent more than three decades exploring the magic and artistry of ice. A native of California, she began experimenting with the cold stuff after moving to Minnesota in her teens.
The author of Ice Luminary Magic -The Ice Wrangler’s Guide to Making Illuminated Ice Creations, creator of Wintercraft Ice Lantern Kits and Molds and co-founder of the Middlemoon Creekwalk, Jennifer leads ice luminary workshops and builds commissioned ice installations for private and public events across the United States. She is also known in the Minneapolis area for leading a team of ice artists that create the Enchanted Forest at the Luminary Loppet annual fundraiser event.
When not dabbling with ice, Jennifer can be found raising Monarch butterflies and walking the lakes with her beloved dog Ruby. She and her husband Tom live in Minneapolis and are the parents of three spectacular young adults along with even more spectacular grandchildren.

An annual installation at the Middlemoon Creekwalk - a spontaneous ice luminary lighting, is an ice bar near the foot bridge spanning Middlemoon Creek. The ice bar at the 2018 event was topped with a "Leaf Flower Ice Luminary Tower." Created and installed by Jennifer Shea Hedberg, Wintercraft's Ice Wrangler.

The Minneapolis Downtown Council ordered 122 globe ice lantern centerpieces to adorn the tables at their annual meeting at the Downtown Minneapolis Hilton. Each hollow ice globe was filled with white crystal LED lights and was nested in a bed of snow-like material to create a "bold north" look.
