William S. Bukowski

Bukowski will be at Art a Whirl at the St. John’s Lutheran Church site at 610 Broadway St NE.

William Bukowski is a representational painter in oil on canvas.  His preferred method is painting from life but has worked from sketches, and photos.  Landscapes have made up the majority of  his body of work since 2004.  Recently he has accepted commissions on Christian themed  subjects for churches in the Mankato area  from the Missouri and Evangelical Lutheran Synods.  Bukowski is a retired art professor from Bethany Lutheran College  in Mankato, Minnesota.

In the Twin Cities, Bukowski’s artwork is featured in many medical facilities including: Minneapolis and St. Paul Children’s Hospitals, St. Joseph’s, Fairview University Medical Center, St. Francis, Abbott Northwestern, Regions and Health Partners, Riverside.  He also has artwork in the 3M Corporation collection as well at the University of Minnesota Hospital and University collection.
