Jill Kittock is an artist who paints people at mundane moments in intricate, lush spaces. Her work is saturated with clever details and symbolism, encouraging the viewer to see something new upon each look. Through rich imagery, Jill hopes to convey the lavishness of life, the peacefulness of a moment alone with a book and a snack, the warmth of friendship, and sometimes the dark weirdness of being alone in the modern world. She works primarily in acrylic gouache and ink.
