In 2014, I assigned myself the challenge to create and publish at least one photo a day, armed only with an iPhone and a Tumblr blog, devoting myself to observing beauty everywhere, especially in often overlooked everyday places.
Since then, I have graduated to mostly DSLR images, and local moments are now mixed with my travels, regionally and beyond. But I still continue to dedicate some part of my day, each and every day, to my art – even the non-stop work and kid filled hectic ones!
When I made the leap to make my art my business, I really wanted to try to make pieces that were affordable and attainable for more people, even those on a budget. As such, many of my pieces are the result of a labor of love of scouring thrift stores for quality frames that may just need a little TLC, and then pouring over my archive to select just the right photo to compliment the frame.
