My Name is Craig S Thompson. Among other things I am a retired Social Worker. Drawing, painting or doodling is something I have done as long as I can remember. I have been selling my work for many years. In the past 30 years I have working in the digital medium and investigating third party printing(mugs and t-shirts and things).

My primary medium has been acrylic on canvas and watercolor. I worked in mixed media, experiential group work and digital formats. Out of concern for the environment I now limit my medium to watercolor and digital platforms.

Most recently I have sold digital designs (prints and apparel) at Tandem Brick Gallery in Des Moines, Iowa. My last Solo show would have been in Grimes, Iowa in 2004. Over the years I have exhibited in juried shows in Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska and Texas.

A very long time ago I worked in mixed media- did very textural abstract work. I received Best in Show at The Iowa Artist Annual Exhibition in 1979.

My wish now is to represent the natural world and encourage it’s preservation.
