Botanical Art
Botanical art has a long tradition of depicting plants in a scientifically accurate and aesthetically pleasing manner. It is a marriage of science and art. Each painting requires hours of research, sketches, color and value studies all before the painting process begins. After preparation, the final painting itself can take between 30-60 hours and, like a beloved book, is difficult to finish. I do hope you enjoy these pieces.

Scientific Botanical Illustration Prints

While closely related to botanical art, botanical illustration is art in the service of science. Scientific illustrations are traditionally monochromatic.
