The Mad Capper Saloon and Eatery in Stillwater, MN is housing Adam Turner’s current exhibition.
The paintings depict actual friends of Turner who are the subjects wearing hats as a metaphor to identity. The hats are disappearing into the background, causing us to question how reliant are we on external elements to define our identity. Are we still something without those ‘things.’
