NE Sculpture | Gallery Factory is pleased to announce the opening of “Tangible Hallucinations,” a compelling new exhibition by intern-fellows Selené Huff and Jessalyn Finch. The pop up-exhibition will be open June 6-8, featuring a dynamic collaboration that bridges sculpture and large-scale drawing.

“Tangible Hallucinations” delves into the body experience, biomorphic forms, and the transient nature of understanding human existence. Huff and Finch explore the intersection of physicality and perception, inviting viewers to engage with artworks that challenge conventional notions of biological form and its boundaries. It encourages a deeper reflection on the connections between our physical selves and the intangible experiences that shape our reality.

“We aim to provoke thought and self-reflection through our works,” said Selené Huff. “Our goal is to challenge viewers to rethink their perceptions of their own bodies and existence,” added Jessalyn Finch.

The opening reception will be held on June 7th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at NE Sculpture | Gallery Factory with an Artist Talk moderated by Alyssa Baguss, program coordinator of Silverwood Park, at 7:30pm at NE Sculpture | Gallery Factory. Live music will take place in the NE Sculpture | Gallery Factory Courtyard featuring Bookowski at 7pm, Wilflower at 8pm, and Philippe Gallandat at 8:45pm.  Light refreshments will be served.
