ABOUT THE FILM
The film was shot in Havana and tells the story of a filmmaker overwhelmed by loneliness who deals with several ex-partners and protagonists of his previous films until a conflict breaks out that is very difficult to resolve.
For the director Enrique Kiki Alvarez, it is a “regressive log of my archives and my memory. It is me and my ghosts, my desires, my losses, my frustrations. A personal itinerary that is also the itinerary of a generation, of an era,” Álvarez told the IPS agency in an interview.
He said that the film is in some way a tribute to the French director Jean-Luc Godard, since part of the title comes from a phrase from a character in his film L´amour: “A single couple under a powerful sun and with a single desire, sunken at the feet of their own image. An infinite couple.”
