Mending 101
This very basic mending class is geared towards anyone who would like to know how to deal with fashion emergencies, extend the life of their garments, or make simple adjustments. No sewing machine is required for these skills! This is mending for real life.
Instructor Sharon Rusten will introduce you to the necessary tools to have in your sewing kit and how to use them (including press on patches, stitch witch, and fashion tape) as well as demonstrate how to hem, close a seam, sew on a button, string elastic, and more.
The instructor will collect a materials fee of $5 at the beginning of class.
