Blowing Boro Basics
Learn how to blow glass in the scientific tradition. Students will be pulling points, making tapered spheres, blowing bowls, and trimming lips.
Students are required to bring or purchase a graphite opening tool, (available at Potekglass for $15) and three borosilicate glass pieces, 19mm Hvy wall tube, 12.7mm Hvy wall tube and 7mm rod (available at Potekglass for $29.20).
Previous torchwork experience is required. Any of the Try-iT! torch classes are excellent introductions to the medium.
