It is with great enthusiasm and excitement that we announce Art Is For Everyone, our 10-year Anniversary exhibit opening on Saturday, June 11th, 2022. Our retrospective exhibition, Art Is For Everyone, will honor the decade-long history of the gallery, including the artists that have been showcased with us and the collectors that make it all possible.
This exhibit will be a month-long display of ten previously exhibited artworks shown and purchased at Gamut, graciously on loan from the owners who first fell in love with them. The selected Gamut pieces from the artists span the existence of the gallery and will be on view alongside an image of the collectors in their homes alongside a short write-up about what collecting art means to them, memories they have of the gallery, and more!
We are very excited to welcome back featured artists; Aldair Dosmil, Ash Hane, Barret Lee, Bunny Portia, Kristi Abbott, James Zucco, John Foster, Lora Hlvasa, Rodrigo Oñate, & Urban Camper. Each one of them has created two brand new works to pair with the loaned work from the collector, specifically for this exhibit. We believe this exhibit will be a wonderful way to bring our mission of bridging artists with their community to life, as well as highlighting how their style and medium have evolved XX number of years later. This will keep the story going as attendees have a chance to fall in love with the artist all over again through the story we will be sharing!
