Class 1:

Planning Your Art Career- Part 1: Markets, Branding, and Pricing
Do you want to turn your passion for art into a career? In this class, we will explore how to identify your personal art style, how to choose your art market and the pros and cons of each (e.g. galleries, art fairs, licensing, brand deals, teaching, etc), how to price your art and products, how to define your brand and message as an artist, and how to communicate with your target audience to ultimately generate income as an artist.
Class 2:
Date Options: Thursday, October 12th, 6pm – 8pm or Tuesday (Join Waitlist), November 14th, 6pm – 8pm
Planning Your Art Career- Part 2: Social Media, E-Commerce, and Calls to Action
In this class, we will explore how to harness the power of social media, gain a meaningful audience, and make more art sales. We will discuss different social media platforms and strategies to grow your audience organically, how to easily create more content, how to choose an e-commerce option to make online sales around the world, how to promote your brand and message as an artist, and how to speak to your audience with a clear call to action.
Cost: FREE – This class is funded with money from the Metropolitan Library Service Agency (MELSA).
