6 Week Advanced Wheel Throwing Workshop

Push your wheel throwing skills to the next level or beat your creative slump with this Advanced Wheel Throwing workshop taught by guest instructor Khalil Jannah.
A variety of demos along with a free-flowing structure, will provide an individualized experience where you can determine which demos you prefer to watch and what you want to see more of while also allowing time for one-on-one instruction.
Throughout the advanced course, you will learn skills to help you grow as an artist. We will create with the notion of impermanence, cutting vessels in half to see where they can be improved, letting pieces collapse because you stretched the clay too much, letting them contort because the cylinders were pulled higher than you ever have before. This class is intended for you to stretch your capabilities so you can surpass your previous abilities. If you feel like you’ve plateaued in ceramics and don’t know where to go, this class is for you.
