Before I learned how to work with a paintbrush, I was telling stories. Through exercises and practice in various media and styles, storytelling continues to be a central theme of my art. In many ways, my painting practice gives life to stories that would otherwise not meet our world – different characters, worlds, and journeys are made real where they did not exist before. I seek to explore these stories and how to tell them in my art.
