Sophie is a Minneapolis-based textile & fiber artist, professional plant lady, and former science teacher, who finds healing in creating and sharing art. Her art is hand-woven with a frame loom and needle-felted. Sophie’s work is made from sustainable, vintage, and recycled textiles and fibers, showcasing her commitment to both artistic expression and consciousness.
Through her art, Sophie aims to capture the essence of these natural phenomena and to bring their captivating beauty into people’s lives, promoting healing and grounding. She has always had a passion for nature, rocks, gemstones, and living things on Earth. This passion is reflected in all of Sophie’s artwork.
