Each piece is uniquely made by painting on raw wood using a mix of paint and and water and allowing them to flow into the woodgrain. Finished paintings are sealed with a water soluble high gloss varnish so there is absolutely no odor. The glossy varnish makes these hard to photograph and incredibly lush in person.

These little Artifacts are between 3.5-4.5 inches. Each Artifact of Joy is an original painting on sliced wood, painted with acrylic, sealed with high gloss varnish to make the colors juicy. They can be hung from the leather attachment or remove the leather and hang it on a nail for a simplified look.
