Sheltered Journey

Nature surrounds, nurtures and sometimes circumscribes our journey through life. These three paintings started just before the lockdown in spring, 2020, and evolved into a triptych, “Sheltered Journey”. It alludes to all the time I spent at home during the pandemic feeling I was on a sheltered journey, soothed by thoughts of nature. It alludes to that journey in concept and in form.

The side panels are 24″h x 15″w, the center panel is 20″h x 16″w. Overall dimensions are 24″ w x 56″w. Acrylic paint on canvas. 2020. $1,100.
