Curling Stones

Oil painting of curling stones at Sociable Cider Werks.  Currently on display in Sociable’s small taproom, 1500 Fillmore Street NE, Minneapolis.  Highly detailed.  Pointillistic.  Painting depicts ten newly acquired granite curling stones before Sociable’s first Bonspiel, with snow and sky reflected in the handles.  The background is a juniper tree with a few bluegreen berries.  Oil paint on Gessoboard, 12″ x 12″ before framing, in flat black wooden frame.  Completed 2024.
