Closing Time II
My thus-far masterpiece! Big 2’x3′ painting of scarlet and rust red Adirondack chairs just after closing time at Sociable Cider Werks on a beautiful May night. Currently on display in Sociable’s small taproom; 1500 Fillmore Street NE, Minneapolis.
Oil paint on 2″ cradled Gessoboard, dimensions 24″ x 36″ and 2″ thick. The wooden sides are painted black and the back is open, with stainless steel coated picture wire.
