In the 20th century, I worked in large format film photography, using a 4 x 5 camera on a tripod. In the 21st century, I work with large format digital photography. I am pursuing several projects, including streetscapes in North America and Europe, “Indian Mounds” of America, megaliths of Europe, the unique landscape of Pike Island MN, and Recent Shootings in America, my series documenting the countless, mundane locations of contemporary gun violence.
I have exhibited my work in juried shows in New Mexico, Texas, Missouri, Kentucky, Wyoming, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Rhode Island, and elsewhere. Recent awards include 2nd Place prize, given for a body of work, in PhotoSpiva (2023), 3rd place in a juried show at the Rhode Island Center for Photographic Arts (2022), Honorable Mention, Annual Member’s Juried Show, Artistry (Bloomington MN 2024), Award of Excellence, Robbin Gallery MN (2024).
