MTL is a volunteer-driven member cooperative that provides access to tools, training, and shared workspace. We pool and share resources with each other to reduce our environmental footprint and save money that can then be re-invested in our small businesses, homes, and neighborhoods. The core of our programming is a large inventory of hand and power tools (7,000+ items) that members can borrow for their projects. It’s part of our mission to empower artisans, makers, and crafters in their pursuits – and share tools and trade skills with one another.

MAKE IT Gallery Exhibit & Challenge Showcase
Share, celebrate & connect with a community of Makers, DIY’ers and Artisans! View 2023 MAKE IT Challenge entries, vote for your favorite builds, and glean inspiration for your next DIY at our Gallery Exhibit. (Open Saturday 10AM-4PM @ Dock 1) This year we challenged our community to go green and MAKE IT sustainably – whether by design (using reclaimed or repurposed materials for their build) and/or function (making an item that encourages reuse or sharing within one’s home or community).

Hands-On Activities
Dare to Repair! Join us on Sunday (3-6PM) for our monthly community FIX-IN. Learn how to troubleshoot and repair your household items, electronics, tools, textiles, and more!
Our May FIX-IN will feature extra support for garden tool maintenance, like blade sharpening and handle repair, so you can be ready to hit the garden as soon as the ground thaws!
