As a predominantly abstract artist working in oil on canvas, painting is my method of interpreting the natural, spiritual and emotional world, and my art explores the relationship between these inner and outer worlds through a very intuitive process of mark-making. The work is organic and flowing, with a distinct color palette and recurring, multi-layered shapes that create ambiguous natural forms.
I believe deeply in the connection that is created between the artist, the artwork and the viewer. The abstract compositions of these paintings ask the viewer to engage emotionally with the work to derive a personal sense of meaning.
