Cortona Sunset

This photograph is printed on canvas at 24″ x 16″ and framed in a walnut floating frame increasing its size to 25.75″ x 15.75″. The picture shown here is a photograph of the framed photo against a white wall.

I love the way the sun drenches the scene with its glow. The photograph was taken in Cortona, Italy after a long day of biking through the hills of Tuscany. I was there as part of a biking tour. The road from the highway up to these residences where we spent the night was perhaps the steepest of all the hills we rode up that day. Many in our biking group decide to walk up or take a ride in the support vehicle. But for me the ride up was worth the view when I walked out onto our balcony and saw the beautiful sunset.
