Forage. Broadleaf Plantain

This is the second painting in the “Forage” series. I think it is important to know about plants you may encounter while hiking. This plant can be eaten raw but be careful about dirt that might be on it. Wash it well, or better yet, cook before eating. A healthy green with a flavor similar to arugula.

This was painted in July 2021 using watercolor and gouache on hot press watercolor paper. It is 12″x16″.

It is unframed.

Notecards are available at the studio.

Prints are available at Fine Art America.
