Escape from Traffic
Island Lake in Shoreview, Minnesota has a boat launch just off the freeway. It is a nice spot to sit and take a break from your commute. This was created in 2013 at the beginning of my practice of adding pen lines to watercolor. It seemed the best way to draw attention to the car and the person sitting by the bridge. The rest of the traffic fades into the surroundings.
