Waite Park Community Festival
NE Artists, especially members living or working in the Waite Park NE neighborhood- Waite Park Community Council is sponsoring a Fall Festival, and we would love to invite you to participate. WP Fall Festival will be an outdoor community event featuring music, art, food, games, and great neighbors at Waite Park adjacent to Waite Park Elementary. Artists can bring tents or tables (tents will not be available at the event, so you will need your own) to show or sell art, and will be prominently featured on our website and any literature pertaining to the event.
WP Fall Festival is happening 9/19/21 from 3-7:00 PM. Set up and take down will be the artist’s responsibility, but time is flexible on the day of the festival, so there is no hurry. Artists are not required to stay for the entire event. There is no table fee or charge for participating, and you will not need to provide a percentage of sales to the event.
WP Community Council is committed to social justice and racial equity- BIPOC, LGBTQIA, persons with disabilities and emerging artists are encouraged to attend. We are requesting a commitment by 8/2 to allow us to plan space for the event. At this time we do not intend to limit the number of participants, but may need to adjust if we get an overwhelming response.
Please join us for this inaugural event of a brand new showcase we hope will expand our community’s appreciation of art and artists in ALL neighborhoods in NE Minneapolis.
