Join Annie Hejny at White Bear Center for the Arts for an indoor and outdoor nature-based painting workshop. Students will be guided through Hejny’s painting techniques and nature practices, including a water collection process and a forest bathing walk to gather inspiration. In the classroom, students will move between acrylic on canvas to gouache and charcoal on paper, exploring abstract expressions of their nature-experiences. The forest bathing walk, as well as other reflection activities, are an invitation into embodiment before diving into creativity.
