Have you fallen for an oddly shaped stone but are stumped on how to set it? This class is your opportunity to solve that puzzle as we focus on nontraditional ways to create prong settings that will hold unusual shapes. We’ll work on a ring-sized object and practice fundamental jewelry skills like soldering, filing, sawing, drilling, prong setting, and finishing. You’ll work with jeweler’s tools and equipment including a dual-fuel torch and flexshaft. No prior experience is required for this fundamental.
