Minnesota Artists' Association Exhibition

The Minnesota Artists’ Association is the original art organization in Minnesota. In 1937, during the Great Depression, a group of artists decided to pool their energies and help one another. They formed a group where they could bring their problems and gain encouragement to go on. Sometimes they even needed food, but most importantly they could keep their spirits alive and communicate about a topic that was their life: ART.
