Walking Far

This was painted after a very long walk. It felt good to push my physical body to its limit. I did not plan this image. I knew I wanted a horizon line and strong lines that could suggest plants overlapping or branches entering the scene. A hazy image of something on the water in the distance could suggest a ship. I enjoyed letting the paint become what you see here.

Original watercolor is 30″x22″ and framed in wood with conservation glass. It is at Owatonna Hospital until October 29.
