Thistle Field

There’s an area in Northeast Minneapolis along 35W at St. Anthony Boulevard that’s used for staging of construction equipment and materials.  Pretty weeds, particularly these musk thistles, are attracted to its oft-disturbed soil and turn it into a lovely miniature meadow in the summer.
