Superior Landscape: Calm
I have a series of seven acrylic paintings of Lake Superior from July of 2024. This is the first of that series to be ready for sale.
If you have spent time at Lake Superior, you know that the appearance of the lake often changes hourly. This series of paintings is a mixture of what I saw in front of me and my connection to the paint and canvas. The common thread through all seven paintings is the order from top to bottom of sky, water, rocks, plants. Exercises in Simplicity.
This acrylic painting is on 11″ x 14″ stretched canvas. It is in a gray frame with a black inner edge.
