Stained Glass Style Earrings

The imagery and style of stained glass works well with beadwork. I’ve often used this conceit in my work, but it wasn’t until recently that I thought of actually using transparent and opaque beads to create a more truly stained glass feel. The result is these five earring styles.

• Rainbow – A rainbow wave of color set in matte black. Comes with gold plated fishhooks.

• Desert – Soft yellow, orange and pink stripes set in champagne gold. Comes with gold plated fishhooks.

• Bamboo – Spring green chevrons set in rich brown and gold. Comes with gold plated fishhooks.

• River – Ripples and bubbles of blue and teal set against a dark grey blue. Comes with silver plated fishhooks.

• Waterflily – Bright pink and green waterlilies set against soft blue. Comes with silver plated fishhooks.

These styles are all available in both 1” short and 2” long versions. Both sizes are 0.5” across. The gold and silver fishhooks can be swapped for each other or for gold plated lever backs for an extra fee.
