Square of Fall Retreat

This watercolor was painted when I was on a retreat about 10 years ago. Some trees tell the story of their lives in the direction of their branches and the remnants of old scars.

Recently I made some changes to it: I painted the edges of the wood panel a dark blue and allowed the dark paint to brush onto the edges of the watercolor.

This 8″x8″ watercolor on paper is mounted on a wood panel. It has a hanger on the back. It is part of a series of 9 square wood panels all painted dark blue on the edges. Inquire about a discount if you plan to purchase more than one.
