Snowdrifts on the Lake
This is from my imagination. This might look familiar to you if you have ever walked on a lake after a snowstorm and noticed how the blowing snow created drifts on the ice. The highlights and shadows create interesting shapes.
The base of this painting is a pine board that has been coated with gesso and then liquid watercolor ground. It is 10″ x 5.5″. The sides are painted with silver acrylic paint and the painting is sealed with wax. There is a hanger on the back.
