Skull Island

Original oil on canvas, 18 x 24 x 1.5 in, ready to hang.

The Treasure Island casino opened in 1993 next to The Mirage. But in 2003, the resort changed to focus more on adult entertainment, and one of the things sacrificed in the makeover was the famous skull-and-crossbones sign, which now lies on its’ back in the Las Vegas Neon Boneyard, where it resembles a deserted island, undoubtedly with buried treasure.
