Rainy Rest Spot

Sitting outside on a day when rain is both in the recent past in the immediate future. A poem by Minnesota poet Lisa Higgs has the line, “what is one thing will soon be another”. That was part of the inspiration for this.

This is watercolor and permanent ink and clear acrylic on Yupo Paper. The ink is partially rubbed away to suggest the passage of time.
