Poinsettia canape knife

Sparkling River’s first fundraiser features a hand crafted hollow red glass bead with poinsettia flowers on a hammered stainless steel and gold plated canape knife created especially for my family in St. Petersburg Beach, FL who lost pretty much everything during hurricane’s Helene and Milton.

My amazing, generous and kind brother and wife jobs are on the beach, in the hospitality and customer service industries. Currently, my family is living in a camper while they rebuild their homes and lives. My sadness for this awful situation brought me to my torch where I began making poinsettia everything, one after another, for many days until the joy of melting glass flowed back into me, finally propelling me towards my planned glass work for the holidays ahead.

With my family’s permission, 100% all sales of these special handmade by me, with my two hands and a torch, art glass poinsettia pieces will be donated directly to my brother and wife.

May all the souls who lost so much during the devastation of this past years’ hurricane season be remembered this holiday season with love and kindness by all.
