Peruvian Mountain Valley

This photograph is a scene along the way as we were traveling from Cusco, Peru to Machu Picchu. As soon as I saw it I knew I needed to photograph it. We were in the Peruvian Andes. Cusco is at an altitude of 11,154 feet and Machu Picchu is at an altitude of 7,874 feet. This photograph was taken at an altitude somewhere between those two heights. Unfortunately I do not know the name of the town in the valley below. The photograph is in an 11″ x 14″ mat that can be inserted into a standard size frame and placed on a wall or table.
