Patchwork Bowl #32
Patchwork bowl hand built from white stoneware clay, glazed in different shades of pink, green, blue, rust and purple and fired to Cone 5. The patterns come from architectural elements, a rosette cookie, a fisher price toy record, a dragon key chain from the Shannon ferry, some clock gears, the stairs in the Grain Belt Bottling House, cast iron trivets and other found objects.. There are three gumdrop-shaped feet on the underside, which is similar in color and texture to the inside. The bowl is food safe and dishwasher safe and measures about 7” across and 1.5” tall.
