The title of this mixed media painting is Rock Slumber. It measures 12″x12″ and is a combination of acrylic and graphic materials on unframed canvas.
It is a meditation of nature and how rocks, once they find thier place among each other, become static and do not move for a very very long time. I wanted to show how light works against this natural principle and flows in among the stasis of the rocks.
