Milkweed Bloom
The milkweed plant is the only food source for the Monarch Butterfly. In addition, it’s sap can cure warts. The fluff from the seed pods can be used to stuff lifejackets. It is an amazing plant.
I am visually drawn to this plant because of the way the leaves curl and vary in size.
This was drawn using illustration pen and colored with watercolor. It is 5″x7″ and unframed.
