Forest of Birch – Small
My first visit to Jay Cook state park, hiking with some new friends. We came across this view on our hike and I was just taken in by all the color, lines, and textures. This is a winter scene taken in February just a few months before that area received 10+ inches of rain in less than 24 hours. The state park had a lot of its trails washed away by the raging river. I have not been back to see if my precious Birch is still there.
